This novel was a very entertaining and easy to read combination of vamp tales and native American lore. As a first effort for the author, I can only congratulate him and wish him success in the sequels. I am in for the whole ride and I recommend it for all readers.

Usually the suspense in a book makes you eager to see what happens at the end so you rush through it. However in this well crafted story I still wanted to know what was going to happen because I was engaged with the characters…but not so fast - each page I simply enjoyed the “now” to take my time towards the finale. Very well balanced story to keep you excited to continue towards the finale while keeping you savoring each scene page by page. Excellent book all around.
