I Have Got to Get Better at This

Time sure flies when you're having fun. In my last post (in May 2023- see what I mean by the title of this post?), I was starting what I hoped was the final edit of "Bad Moon Rising". I was wrong! But after several additional editing rounds I published Book 4 of the "Shaman Tales" series in December 2023. So it is out there for your enjoyment.

After publishing "Bad Moon Rising", I took a short break to clear my head and spent some time on social media talking about it and my other books. But I am happy to announce that in the past couple of months I have been working on "Shaman Tales- The Chronicles of Little Hawk (Book 5)- Shaman's Demise". So far, I've gotten the Prologue, 12 chapters, and an Epilogue drafted.

As a bit of a spoiler, the Prologue jumps back to explain how Grandfather was able to see the kids and Drizzle were coming home in Book 4 and gives some personal insight on him, then Chapter 1 picks up the new story just before Thanksgiving break of the school year following the events of "Bad Moon Rising".

The writing is going well, but I'm only about halfway through the story. Fingers crossed that I'll have it done in time for Christmas.
